OBSERVER MUSIC MONTH LY, UK
They sound wired, edgy, boozy and as dangerous as ever, like a new band full of that energy that comes with those first moves and not a band who’ve been doing this since the start of punk. Robert Lloyd really shouldn’t be this good after all these years, should he?

THE ORGAN, UK
The new album from the 'Gales is their finest for 27 years. Start here and work backwards

MOJO, UK
Its no wonder that they are on the label of the Krautrock-legends Faust. The Nightingales capability with sound and playfulness is endless. Their rough unruliness is very charming
ECLIPSED, Germany
Insult to Injury is probably as good as the Nightingales have ever been. This isn’t just an 80's band doing good but it’s a fine record period, and puts most contemporary (and younger) “post-punk” bands to shame
SOUNDS XP, UK
It is a disturbing, funny, hard to classify, intelligent and interesting piece of rock music. Melancholic, sarcastic, with great musical skills and a charismatic frontman - a mix that makes it easy to see why John Peel loved them
THE GAP, Germany
The vibrancy of it all sets the post- garag e/ punk/ rock( abill y) pulse s wrigg ling while allowing room for exhuberant some Music Hall rollicking to fit right in

LEEDS GUIDE, UK
Beefheartian honk, skronk and groove mixed with discordant falling-apart-at-the-seams rock 'n' roll. Everything sprinkled over the top with those surreal streams of swiftly decaying consciousness lyrics
ROCK A ROLLA, UK
This record can teach a lesson to the dozens of kids' bands pretending to be 'cool' on myspace, talking of post-punk without knowing the real thing
RUMORE, Italy
Robert Lloyd's almost spoken word vocals may be an acquired taste but the band's progressive, Led Zeppelin-inspired jams will be a treat for many. This is mostly an enjoy

Out Now!! On CTR: Human Noise 7" (500 Ltd) featuring Fred Deakin's Impotent Fury Remixes of Moscow 1980 (Manicured Noise) and The Dignity Of Labour Part 3 (The Human League) Fred Deakin, Lemon Jelly and remix maestro has crafted a quality 7" for Caroline True Records-In topically snowy white vinyl, with a unique Airside (Fred's design company) created package, and a free 25mm button badge too (Also v Ltd) this is very limited (500) and I only have a couple of dozen copies left. "He (Fred Deakin) ensures the drums are beefed-up and metronomic, getting to the heart of the matter and nailing the beat down with spikes. The result is a glorious, Balearic-influenced spy theme and a dancefloor call to arms that's impossible to ignore." (Tim Peacock: Whisperin' and Hollerin') "If I was a gambling man I’d say right now the record most likely to cause me to fall of the wagon will be a lovely limited edition 7″, called Human Noise out now on Caroline True Records. Honestly there should be laws against this sort of thing." Einstellung's first album "Wings of Desire" is to be re-released on double vinyl
Einstellung's first album "Wings of Desire" is to be re-released on double vinyl by Capsule
(home of the acclaimed Supersonic Festival, Home of Metal digital archive, Beestung Lips
and Transitional). The album should be ready by spring.

The cover art has been redesigned by Lucy McLaughlan.

We will play our first show of 2009 at the Actress & Bishop on Friday 6th March. Playing
alongside us are the excellent IO, Acres of Ocean and DBH. We can't wait! Tickets are
available in advance from Einstellung's manager, Rob Horrocks at £4 or £5 on the door.

We are working on new material for a follow up to "Sleep Easy Mr Parker", our 28-minute
CD single release on Bearos Records. The piece is taking shape already and is very
different from anything released so far. Like "Sleep Easy..." the piece is intended as a single
track but, unlike "Sleep...", will contain differing moods, tempos, noise and textures. The initial
release medium of the track is yet to be decided but it certainly won't be a standard release.
Finally, our 2nd album "And The Rest Are Thunder" is nearing completion. Details soon.
