I went to Prague at the weekend.
yeah holiday was amazing. Flight to prague was about an hour. I had to drink a double brandy before I got on the plane and even then I white knuckled it all the way trying to not to start shouting out loud.
Got To Prague ok, jumped the bus and the metro to the hostel as I couldn't work out the ticket thing. I couldn't speak czech either so thought I'll just play the stupid tourist game.
Found out my friends had moved from Prague to Nurnburg in Germany so when I got to hostel at 11pm thought I'd drink a coffee and go for a walk. The coffee in the hostel blew my head off. I was still wandering around prague at 4am in subzero temperatures visiting all the sites. When I got back the hostel someone was in my bed so had to creep around all the rooms trying to find a spare bed. Hilarious. Found a bed about 5am. just as I was dropping off to sleep the germans got up to get their flight. how many rustly bags and noising things do they have in their bags? how long do they pack then unpack then pack again? over an hour! I went mad. they left and then as I was falling a sleep the next alarm went off and then this other lot got up. this went on til 8 am. I got no sleep at all. I then spent friday wandering around with this stupid english made map of prague that only had the main streets on. I'd had no sleep. I got really lost.I met some American girl and an Irish bloke who wandered around with me as they were both travelling by themselves too.
then saturday I got the train to nurnburg..or at least thats what the ticket said. The train went to kozolupy, then I had to get off the train cos there were works on the tracks. Just like English trains. I had to get a bus. A really old bus, with rainbows painted on the side, I had to go somewhere else. then I had to get another train that took me to germany.6 hours!
But it didn't end there. I found my friend but she wouldn't let me stay at her house as her boyfriend might get jealous. I coudn't stay at hers, I had to stay 20 minutes away on another train to somewhere in student land in erlanger.I had to stay in a room at the uni accomodation block place, thing, whatever. I met david and Dieter, they made me a cup of tea and were really friendly. They like black sabbath too. we talked, I almost started having a holiday. Sunday went to Bamburg, got chased by people dressed in liedehosen threatening me with big sausages on sticks. It was some national holiday. nobody told me, Nurnburg and bamburg are in Bavaria. They are all mad in bavaria. You also don't get away with jumping the train, even when you say Hail Eris! I got busted........4 times. Then I ran out of money. I also nearly got run over as germans don't recognise pedestrians and they drive even bigger swinemobiles than me. had to get train back to prague on tuesday, then had to jump the metro to the airport as I'd got no money left. sat at the airport for hours then came home after 2 hour delay. Stewardess really reassured me when she told me the blind on the window had to be kept open so that "if the engine caught fire on take off she would be able to see it."
I think she was really pleased the flight only lasted an hour. She made the mistake of asking over the public address thing if any passengers could swap 4 fivers for a twenty. She asked them to push their call button if they could do the swap. I pressed my call button and asked if she could swap me a life as a failed music promoter for a holiday home in spain.
but anyway........
I'm back now
will swap..what have you got?

Today I got up too early. Trying to sort out Birmingham Music Network, carpet delivery for my new house mate Annie, tried to open a bank account for iron man records today, had to rescue the car as parking warden was standing next to it three minutes before the ticket expired looking at his watch. Have they got nothing better to do?Took Tony from Damn Dirty Apes' marshall amp head to the repair shop, band practice, back to the office, finished the DIY covers for the new last under the sun cd, Hendricks from Fortune and Glory tried to persuade me to book a tour for the Harpies. I told him to book it himself. How do I know I'm going to end up doing it for him. Got home, mopped the floor, sorted everything ever, started duplicating the new cd on the computer. Guess what? its 1:45am, I'm writing Last Under the sun: "All empires Crumble" on cdrs in black pen, I'm folding homemade photocopied covers and putting them in plastic wallets. DIY or die. Anybody out there? No sleep for the devils own.

you can find the videos and mp3(when they're done at htp://www.musicmirror.co.uk which is a site run by some friends of mine who are helping promote the band.
I think I've worked it out now. Not that anyone is ever going to read this but here goes. Si is at the studio mixing four news songs that we recorded over the last couple of weeks. Fuck the governement again(from the los reptillios stuff), Bring me their heads, NOt in my Name and Open Fire. I'm in the process of putting some samples together so will report back on progress. Gig In Witney last week was cancelled as It took three hours to get get to Frankly services, a journey that should only have taken ten minutes. The Council forgot to grit the roads so snow and ice meant everyone was driving at 2 miles an hour. The heater in the car packed up too so it was three hours freezing to death for no apparent reason.
Just spoke to Cyrus so I'm hoping he'll fix my email server problems

I don't know how I managed todo that but I've managed to access the account again after locking myself out for months.
Thanks to Psycho Bill leaving messages on my mobile phone I had to disappear for a while anyway but I'm back and I'll try and keep an account of the activities of the band I'm in called Last Under The Sun.
Next gig is at the Flapper and Firkin in Birmingham on the 15th Feb so I hope to get this thing working fully by then.
